Meet No. 004 — our Desert Pirate Wendigo. Part cryptid, part cursed treasure goblin, 100% not invited to dinner but shows up anyway. Deer skull head, antlers tangled with tattered sails from ships that never made it to water, tricorn hat that's seen better centuries, a belly literally stuffed with gold coins and the skulls of his last crew, rusty cutlass in one hand and the whole damn treasure chest in the other.
This ain't your Pacific Northwest Wendigo. This one traded pine trees for cactus, snow for cracked desert floor, and howls for coyotes. He wanders the old cabin porches at sunset looking for one more member of the crew.
Spotted just outside the dunes at golden hour. If you hear coins jingling in the wind and smell old rope and rust — you're too close. Legend says he invites you to family dinner night. No one ever leaves hungry. No one ever leaves at all.
This is a cryptid, a cautionary tale, and a flex all in one. Hang it on your back porch or wear it — just don't turn your back on him for too long.
